Created on plywood featuring the HANNYA figure used by the convention for their posters: I transferred the image from the poster to the wood using the glue and water transfer technique, then cut to perfection using a profielsaag (scroll saw). The whole piece was first stained here and there with gold paint splatters and then lacquered. In the bottom center, a hole holds a real aluminum Tebori tool. It was great creating these awards, the first ones I made using this wood image transfer method. I also used this same technique for the trophies made for the Vietnam Tattoo Convention, which I will post in the future. The entire award was designed and created by me, except for the image which was provided by the Rotterdam Tattoo Convention. 🇮🇹 Questi sono i trofei fatti per l'8ª Rotterdam Tattoo Convention 2018. Creati su compensato con la figura dell'HANNYA usata dalla convention per i loro poster: ho trasferito l'immagine dal poster al compensato usando la tecnica del trasferimento con colla e acqua, poi tagliato con il profielsaag alla perfezione. Il tutto è stato prima macchiato qua e là con degli schizzi di vernice dorata e poi laccato. Nella parte centrale inferiore, un foro ospita un vero Tebori tool in alluminio. È stato bello creare questi premi, i primi fatti così con il trasferimento dell'immagine su legno. Ho usato questa stessa tecnica anche per i trofei fatti per la Vietnam Tattoo Convention, che posterò in futuro.
