This time-lapse documents the creation of the "Best of Show" trophy for the Sanremo Tattoo Convention (Italy), Dec 14-16, 2018. It is the counterpart to the "Best Nerd" work, and like that one, it was among the last trophies I built before my illness. The display case is entirely handmade from wood and glass, measuring 40cm wide, 35cm deep, and 35cm high. Inside sits a classic tattoo setup with a transformer, cables, and machine. A unique feature is the ink bottle suspended in the air by the machine's cable, appearing to pour ink into the cups. The colors are those of the Italian flag, mirrored by the stained latex gloves hanging behind. This prize was donated to the best tattoo artist of the show. It took almost two months to build alongside its counterpart, "Best Nerd of show".
