SI-3 后溪 Hòuxī. One of the most important distal points for neck pain in Chinese medicine. I use this point constantly in clinic for stiffness of the neck, upper back tension, occipital headaches and that tight pulling sensation between the shoulder and the skull. Make a loose fist and press the tender spot on the outer edge of the hand. Then slowly turn the neck and breathe. The Small Intestine channel runs through the neck and scapula, which is why this tiny point can have such a strong effect on tension higher up in the body. This is part of what I teach inside The Art of Acupressure. Tell me in the comments where you carry tension in your body most often. #acupressure #neckpain #chinesemedicine
